■ The Challenge
Because attendance was tracked by hand and in spreadsheets, monthly aggregation, requests and approvals were laborious, and input errors and key-person dependence crept in. Off-the-shelf packages were considered but didn’t fit the company’s particular work patterns and approval flow, leaving them to compensate manually. They needed a system that honoured the rules refined over years of operation while genuinely matching the way the business ran.
■ Our Approach
Rather than bend the business to a package, KAITECH fitted the system to the business, building it from scratch with PHP Laravel and Vue.js. We covered requirements, basic and database design, AWS infrastructure, UI design, testing and the user manual. We listened carefully to the work patterns and approval flows embedded in years of practice and translated them directly into screens and features. Our goal wasn’t a delivered system but one that is actually used and takes root — so support extended all the way to the user manual.
